Danica Johnson
Danica Johnson joined the Coalition on Human Needs in June 2010. Before coming to CHN, Danica worked at a community-based advocacy organization, Columbia Heights/Shaw Family Support Collaborative, where she combined outreach, communications and administrative work as Executive Assistant to the Director. Danica graduated from UCLA in 2009 with a Major in History and Minors in Political Science and Spanish. As a student volunteer, Danica acted as Clinical Director for the Student Health Outreach Project, lobbied for children’s health care with the Children’s Defense Fund and worked as a committee member of two anti-AIDS fundraising groups.
