Colorado Half in Ten Partner Organizes Against Harmful Cuts

The Colorado Half in Ten Campaign participated in a Northeast Denver Neighborhood Summit to educate individuals about Half in Ten’s policy priorities and to collect support. In particular, Colorado Half in Ten discussed our goal to protect low-income programs, such as Medicaid and TANF. The neighborhood summit was in the beginning of February and attracted a diverse crowd of several hundred. Members of the campaign also participated in conference calls with the nationwide coalition, SAVE for All, to bring forth individual Coloradan’s stories about how proposed budget cuts would be detrimental to our communities.
